The 3rd Gourmet Exhibition is here! For the third consecutive year, Thessaloniki, right in the heart of the city, will host the now well-established Gourmet Exhibition, dedicated exclusively to Greek flavors and aromas.

Since its inception in 2016, the Gourmet Exhibition has aimed to highlight Greek producers of packaged goods both domestically and internationally. This goal has led to active efforts in discovering, collaborating with, and ultimately promoting businesses that offer high-quality, select foods.
This year’s exhibition features 80 unique producers from all over Greece, each associated with high-quality foods, premium raw materials, innovative and packaged products, geographic indications, and well-known brand names.
Naturally, Lemnos, known for its exceptional products, could not be absent from such an event. This year, Lemnos takes the spotlight, as Taste Lemnos founder Alexandros Alexandrou and Malama Banavou set the table with the island’s finest goods, welcoming visitors to taste and evaluate them. Among the featured items are the traditional Lemnos Rusks and Pasta from the Poriazi Family, as well as the exceptional Lemnos Flour, cultivated and packaged by the family business.
During the exhibition, visitors—both general consumers and gastronomy professionals—will have the chance to explore producer booths, sample exquisite products, engage in conversations, learn about production methods, ingredients, distribution, pricing, and even place wholesale or retail orders.
Additionally, the Gourmet Exhibition will host 48 events celebrating Greek products. Tastings, seminars, open discussions, and presentations are available to all visitors at no extra charge.
Two of these events are dedicated to Lemnos and its traditional goods:
“The Gastronomic Path of Lemnos” – taking place on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 3 PM to 4 PM. A delightful presentation and tribute to Lemnos gastronomy by Alexandros Alexandrou of Lemnos Philema.
“Lemnos: A Gastronomic Paradise / Tasting Table” – taking place on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. The tasting includes Lemnos rusks and wines, local cheeses with herbs and olive oil, Afkos (Lemnos fava) paired with marinated seafood, legume salad with cured meat (kavourmas), and Lemnos-scented panna cotta.
You can also find Lemnos products at Stands 11, 12, and 13 throughout the three-day event from April 6–8, at Warehouse C in the Port of Thessaloniki.
Featured products include:
- Lemnos Rusks by “Poriazi Family – Lemnos”
- Lemnos Kavourmas (traditional cured meat)
