“Poriazis Family” is a family business that has been active since 1919, based in Lemnos, operates throughout Greece in the field of agri-food products.

At the Poriazis Family, we are proud of our place and we make sure to highlight its special flavors by faithfully following recipes since 1919. With care, love and respect, we and our team of cooperating farmers, cultivate in the volcanic soils of Lemnos the fine wheat and barley and produce the unique Lemnos flour. We knead in our contemporary facilities, without the addition of preservatives and improvers and we double-bake in a traditional way.
The result is the traditional rusks, “Flomaria” which are the local pasta, the Trahanas from wheat seeds and the Lemnos flour, all rich in taste, nutritious and extremely healthy.



QUALITY ASSURANCE
At Poriazi Family, quality and food safety are non-negotiable values. We produce traditional rusks and pasta using pure, carefully selected ingredients from suppliers who meet strict quality criteria.
To ensure the highest quality of our products, we implement a comprehensive Food Safety Management System (FSCC) based on the ISO 22000 standard, covering all stages of production, from sourcing raw materials to distributing the final product.
PRIMARY SECTOR

The production part for us starts in the field. Our involvement with the primary sector has always been a priority for our company, and that is what makes us unique. For us, the production of our traditional products is not just a process but a chain that connects the land, people and tradition.
From the beginning of our journey, we have invested in the primary sector, ensuring that the wheat and barley we use come from selected crops. Since 1981, we have been growing our own wheat and barley on the island, even reviving old local varieties such as the durum wheat ‘Lemnos’ and the barley ‘Panagia’.
