Wheat Flour from Lemnos

The trademark of Limnos is its wheat fields that stretch all the way to the sea. From these grains, grown in the fertile soil of Limnos, we produce the unique Wheat Flour from Lemnos.

The lemnian Wheat Flour is a yellow type M flour. It comes from the durum wheat varieties of Lemnos, cultivated on the island by us and cooperating farmers through the Contract Farming Program we implement.

Its distinctive, rich flavor comes from the durum wheat of the local variety ‘Lemnos’. A characteristic of this variety is its unique, full flavor and its rich aromas.

The lemnian Wheat Flour is milled in a traditional mill on the island and packaged safely in our modern facilities. A large quantity of the flour is organically grown, while all of it is 100% grown, milled, and packaged in Limnos, from 100% durum wheat of Limnos.

It is also a pure product as there are no additives, preservatives, or other enhancers added.

It is an ideal choice for anyone who wishes to make handmade pasta or rustic, aromatic homemade bread. Additionally, it can be used for pizza dough, pie crusts, tarts, and various savory doughs, as well as for creating certain sweets like loukoumades (Greek doughnuts).
