The trademark of Lemnos is the sown wheat fields that reach the edge of the sea. From these seeds of the fertile Lemnian land, we produce all our traditional pasta such as Kous Kous, Trahanas, Pligouri and Flomari Lemnos.
The preparation of the local pasta of Lemnos traditionally reminded a celebration as every summer the housewives, with the fresh flour of the new harvest, gathered in their homes and with songs and joy they kneaded the pasta for all year round. They then dried and stored it so that they would have pasta for the whole winter.
Keeping the recipes of our own great-grandmother Chrysanthi and using the wheat flour of Lemnos that we grow in the volcanic soil of the island, with a lot of patience and the best care, we offer you these unique traditional pasta.
