On the island of Lemnos, the prospects for actions and initiatives are plentiful—as long as one has the idea, the willingness, and the perseverance to recognize opportunities and make the most of them.
With great joy, the Poriazi Family Lemnos supports the initiative of the volunteer group EnErgo, which, with the guidance and contribution of the NGO AELIA, has decided to hold the first conference titled “1st Dialogues of Poliochni” during a challenging period for our island—February.
The reference to Poliochni aims to highlight it as a cultural heritage of Lemnos with a significant contribution to democracy worldwide. The theme of this first event, which all participants aspire to make a recurring initiative, is to inspire young people to take control of their lives by presenting role models—young individuals who dared, took risks, worked hard, and managed to stand out in their fields.
Below, you will find the conference program as well as some of the participants. The conference will take place at the Library of the General Lyceum of Moudros from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 24.
