Barley Olive Oil Rusks

Barley Olive Oil Rusks are made with naturally slow-fermented sourdough and flour from locally grown barley of the “Panagia” variety. Based on the traditional recipe for our barley rusk, they also contain extra virgin olive oil, giving them an even richer and fuller flavor.

They are a source of dietary fiber, while the use of olive oil in the recipe ensures that the product contains at least 7.5g of oleic acid per 100g. Oleic acid belongs to the category of unsaturated fats. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet helps maintain normal cholesterol levels in the blood and has beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system.
