TRADITIONAL RUSKS

With the purest raw materials, such as Lemnos flour from the unique local variety of wheat and without the addition of preservatives or additives we produce Lemnos rusks.

Rich in fibre and incomparable in taste, our double-baked rusks are the most famous and beloved product of the Poriazi Family with a history that dates back to 1919.

This product is directly intertwined with the gastronomic tradition of our land as the island’s spongers used to double-bake the bread and make it into a rusk in order to preserve it as long as possible on their long journeys.

Today, following the recipe of our great-grandmother Chrysanthi, we produce the authentic Lemnos Rusks which are excellent as an accompaniment to salads, soups, as a main meal, but also as a base for desserts.

Our variety is wide with an emphasis on simplicity and rich taste that comes from the finest raw materials all from the island of Lemnos.
